Object Converter for PowerPoint on Mac

This add-in for PowerPoint and Word converts graphs and other graphical objects pasted from external applications into editable shapes and text. It preserves their original positions and sizes while converting them into grouped shapes that can be edited in PowerPoint or Word. The converted figures also remain sharp when opened in PowerPoint or Word for Windows. However, figures pasted as bitmap images cannot be converted. All conversion is performed on your computer, and no data is sent externally.

Requirements: PowerPoint for Mac 2024 or later, Word for Mac 2024 or later, and an internet connection

Download Object Converter InstallerObjectConverter-Installer.zip

Extract the downloaded ZIP file, then open the newly saved “Object Converter Installer” and click “Install.” After restarting PowerPoint or Word, select Object Converter from Home → Add-ins → Developer Add-ins. You need to select it again each time you restart either app.

Note: For figures originating in Excel, all pages are exported as temporary files. If there are many pages, we recommend copying the figure to a separate slide file before converting it.
