NeoDraw
NeoDraw is a free, high-performance illustration and drawing application designed to create publication-ready figures. It can smoothly handle even one hundred thousand objects without lagging. It supports vector and text editing, multi-page layouts, seamless copy-and-paste of vector elements from other applications, and file imports from PowerPoint, Illustrator, PDF, and PNG.
